Flats make my feet happy! And it was indeed a perfect day to wear them. You see, I have made a lovely new girl friend and Thursday was her birthday! Lucky me I got to see her for a few hours on her special day. What does this have to do with flats? Well, my darling friend stands at just 4’11”. In her heels on Thursday, this brought us much closer to each others height. {I’m 5’5″ish}

I paired my plaid pointy toe flats {Mossimo} with black skinny pants {Gap} a vintage white oxford under a sequin tee {Forever21} all with my vintage envelope clutch.
We pigged out {in the most lady like fashion} on delicious Mexican food. Ironically we ordered the same dish, not knowing that each of us always orders the same at this restaurant!
But the birthday girl got herself something special. {Isn’t she just too cute in her leather moto jacket??}
Also on the list of festivities: Nails! Alisha simply got a fill and polish {which was a simple white tip and ink stripe on her square nails} I thought it was cute but she regretted it afterwards… I opted for almond and used a design that I found on Pinterest for inspiration! I welcomed back my acrylic mani today {it’s been a while!} as I took Ziggy for a walk.

I’m loving these fun {Calvin Klein} flats that I found at Marshalls! I picked my clothes to match them: {DKNY} camel colored pea coat and {JJill} velvet pullover in a dusty pink.
