The Content Creatives Podcast Reveal and Launch Party

March 26, 2020
I’ve been in the blogging world for several years now, and during that time I have met so many other wonderful bloggers! Connecting with other creatives in the blogging community is such an amazing experience. Whether it be through comments on blogs or Instagram posts, DMs, or personal gatherings, I love connecting with other local creatives. Why? Because there is so much that we teach, encourage, and inspire each other to do!

Enter Emma from Emma’s Edition, and Maddy from Madcrayy– these two powerhouse creatives joined forces to give the creative community a new resource… a podcast! If you havent heard of either of them before, check out their blogs and their Instagrams for some major inspo! @emmasedition @madcrayy

The Content Creatives Podcast is there to help “empower creatives to discover, grow, and own their brand”

I had never taken the time to listen to a podcast until these Seattle bloggers revealed what they had been working on together. Frankly, I didn’t even know how to listen to podcasts or how they worked! The Content Creatives Podcast can be found on: iTunes Podcast, Spotify, Tune In, iHeartRadio, and Stitcher. I subscribed to the Content Creatives Podcast on iTunes Podcast and started listening in the car during my commute. Listening to the podcast has inspired me and made me excited to ‘do more’. Conversations between Emma and Maddy feel very natural and inviting. It’s like I’m having a conversation with some friends about the things we love!

Maybe a couple of days after the announcement of their podcast launch I was invited to attend the Content Creatives Podcast Launch Party! By this time only 3 episodes had been released but the material was so good that I was thrilled to be able to attend and support the launch.

The Content Creatives Podcast Launch Party was held at Bake’s Place Bar & Bistro in Bellevue, WA. A private indoor/outdoor room with a private bar was reserved for the event.

Zeacon, the events and experiences app, was one of the partners in hosting the event. A couple of local liquor companies sponsored as well, offering free drinks and prizes. A personalized drink menu was available to order from once you arrived, and the bartenders were very sweet and knowledgeable.

No matter who you are, personal events can be a little intimidating. I like to bring a creative friend with me when I attend events like this launch party. This time, I invited my new friend, Olivia, from Olivia Michelle to attend with me. It was really great to be able to introduce another blogger to a resource like the Content Creatives Podcast and to ladies like Emma and Maddy! Episode 7 of the Content Creatives Podcast actually discusses tips on how to navigate networking events as an introvert vs an extrovert.

We spent so much time talking to other local bloggers and creatives at this party that we barely got to enjoy the amazing food that was offered! If you are ever in the Bellevue area you have to stop by Bake’s Place for their coconut shrimp, it was delicious!

Emma and Maddy have made such a playful, helpful, and useful podcast for this creative community that we share. If you take the time to listen to the Content Creatives Podcast (which you should!) you will find yourself learning something new every episode. You will also find yourself wishing you were Emma and Maddy’s next BFF. I encourage you to connect with them and the other amazing creatives this community through Instagram and their new Facebook Group! These ladies want to be pillars in the community and strive to provide all of the information that they can. I asked them a question on one of their Instagram posts and that inspired an entire episode for the podcast! Check out episode 6: how to get comfortable taking pictures in public
